We are now looking for a Technical Specialist for a six-month consulting assignment via Arho, with a strong possibility of direct employment with the client after the assignment ends.

About the assignment:
You will be working with a leading manufacturer of natural scented candles, diffusers, and eco-friendly home fragrance products – an innovative and sustainable company with a global reach. The company is based in Sweden and provides high-quality, customizable products to well-known brands around the world.

About the role:
As a Technical Specialist, you will play a key role in driving technical development within production – both strategically and operationally. You will be involved in automation projects, technical procurement, machinery investments, and training of technical staff. The role includes close collaboration with management and production to support improvements and investments in new technology.

Your responsibilities include:

• Providing technical expertise in the procurement of equipment, automation, and machinery
• Leading and managing projects within automation, robotics, and new machinery
• Offering technical support during escalation of production issues
• Training production technicians and process operators in technical equipment
• Developing technical specifications and requirements together with suppliers
• Identifying improvement opportunities within production technology and automation
• Supporting management with technical analyses, business insights, and investment proposals

We are looking for someone who has:

• A few years of experience in technical project management, automation, or machinery development
• Experience working on projects involving both suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Knowledge of production technology, robotics, and automation systems
• Experience with technical procurement and writing technical specifications
• Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English

Meritorious qualifications:

• Technical education in mechanical engineering, automation, or similar
• Background in the manufacturing industry
• Experience training technical staff
• Ability to work both strategically and hands-on
